BFA joins forces with BWU for May Day Parade

On a day that is recognised as the international day for workers, the Barbados Football Association (BFA) walked alongside the nation's workforce yesterday in the 2018 Barbados Workers' Union (BWU) May Day Parade. With a compliment just shy of 200 persons, the local governing body for the 'Beautiful Game' took to the streets to stand in solidarity with the workers.

Paradise pull out thriller

Dario 'Ears' Harewood saved the day for Paradise in the 90th minute with a jumping right-foot volley to give them three points and their second out-of zone win as the Barbados Football Association Premier League continued this weekend. Playing at the Wildey Turf on Saturday night, Paradise came from behind to take a 2-1 thriller from Crane and Equipment Ellerton in the nightcap game.

Referee Recruitment Drive gets off the ground

Member Association Referee Assistance Programme Instructor Trevor Taylor going through the fundamentals of the course with some of the candidates on Monday evening.

At the end of the next few weeks, the local football fraternity will be rolling out a brand new crop of referees as the Barbados Football Association is currently running its first Referee Recruitment Drive for 2018.
