Final squad annouced for CONCACAF U15 Boys Championships

Barbados whip host Guyana on opening game of U17 Girls Championships

The game kicked off at 5:01pm with Barbados winning the toss. The Barbados team was visibly nervous and took a while to settle.

The Guyana team took full advantage of this and opened the scoring from a free kick in the 11th minute. This goal seemed to shake the girls somewhat. Five minutes later Caitlin Padmore ran on to a through ball from Asha Stevenson and equalized for Barbados.

U17 Girls off to CONCACAF Championship in Guyana

The Barbados team during their first training session in Guyana.

The Barbados U17 Girls National Team left Barbados on Sunday for Guyana where they will contest Group D of the CONCACAF U17 Girls Championship.

Their first game will be against host country Guyana on Wednesday August 9th with their final match on Friday against Cuba. All matches will be played at the Guyana National Track & Field Center.
