Barbados’ Senior National team will have their first taste of international action for the year when they play Trinidad & Tobago next weekend on March 10th, 2017. The Tridents will oppose the Soca Warriors in an international friendly match to be played at the Ato Bolden Stadium in Trinidad.
Barbados will use this game as a warm up prior to their participation in the Windward Island Tournament which is slated for May this year. The Trinidadians who are still in the hunt for World Cup qualification last played Barbados in 2011 and were 4-0 winners on that occaasion.
On return to Barbados the team will have little time to settle before their next international. They will come up against Martinique on March 26th at the Usain Bolt Complex in Barbados. This will form part of a double header for the local national teams as the senior women will also play Dominican Replubic on the same day at the same venue.
