Barbados will play host to the CONCACAF Train the Trainers Regional Programme. The programme will be launched in Barbados on September 20 and will run for three days.
In CONCACAF’s release, it stated that it is part of their initiative to improve development efforts in the region and to open doors to top aspiring coaches within the regional Member Associations while providing advanced learning opportunities.
The Train the Trainers Regional Programme will consist of a 3-day training schedule which includes theoretical sessions in the classroom and practical sessions on the field, providing enough insight to our CONCACAF Instructors on the potential of each aspiring coach.
At the conclusion of the programme each participant will be evaluated and will be considered for a CONCACAF Instructor Certification. With this certification, the coach-educator will become a designated CONCACAF Instructor and will be able to lead and deliver CONCACAF D & E License Courses.
30 participants from across 9-member associations (including Barbados) will begin arriving in Barbados on September 21st, 2017.
