Women's League kicks off this Sunday at the Wildey turf.

The BFA 2017 Women’s League kicks off this Sunday at the Wildey Astroturf. Seven teams have entered the competition this year with Ellerton fielding a team for the first time.

The competition will play in two rounds primarily on Sundays with a limited amount of games scheduled for during the week.

The seven teams in the competition are defending champions National Sports Council, Ellerton FC, Technique, Mavericks, UWI Blackbirds, Kickstart Genesis and ESFC Unity Stars.

ESFC Unity Stars who had their best season ever last year, placing third in the competition, will take on UWI Blackbirds who placed fourth in the first game at 3.30 p.m. Game two at 5.30 p.m. will see the new girls from Ellerton take on Kickstart Genesis and the final game at 7.30 p.m. will be a contest between Mavericks and Technique girls.

Defending champions National Sports Council will have to wait until the second round of games before their season kicks off.
